Life Links provides a number of different support networks offering you the flexibility to choose how you receive support dependent on your own personal needs. Life Links provides a wellness recovery service tailored to meet your needs. Current and former players, staff, and supporters from each club have contributed to the initiative. It also includes an automated self help assistant (chatbot) available 24/7 that allows you to ask questions online to get a better understanding of the support you might need. United Leicester has been supported by a grant from NHS Charities Together, Leicester Hospitals Charity, Raising Health (Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust) and the East Midlands Ambulance Charitable Fund. Current and past players, as well as many staff and supporters from each club has contributed.

The study, conducted by the University of Cambridge and the National Children’s Bureau, analyzed thousands of records from an NHS trust in London. It found that children from the most deprived areas were approximately twice as likely to be rejected by mental health services as those from the least deprived United Leicester Mental Health areas.

Launched today on World Mental Health Day, the hub will share positive messages on wellbeing, encouraging people across Leicester to lead healthier, happier lives. The Tomorrow Project offers support to those bereaved by suicide in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. They offer one to one, face to face, emotional and practical support to anyone that has been bereaved by suicide.
These powerful videos, along with links to local support organizations and helpful resources, are designed to inspire and provide support. Harmless is working in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland to help people address and overcome issues related to self-harm. Support can be accessed through one-to-one working, group work or informal drop-in sessions. Harmless will work with all ages and can provide support, advice and guidance to carers and families.
